Want my honest advice? Don't trade options unless you can watch them 24/7.



I can't watch options all throughout the day, minute by minute. Though I can usually watch options the majority of the day.

Selling is tough because you never know for sure when it will reverse on you.

My advice is as long as you are selling for a profit, you will never go wrong.

Now, everyone wants those big gains so sometimes you hold out on a hunch or sometimes you look at technicals, what the rest of the market is doing.



I agree, I will most likely use technicals. I had a foundation before learning about option trading, since then I have been steadily building on this knowledge.

Don't set anything and walk away, if you can't be in front of your computer watching the L2 and charts you shouldn't be trading them.

Not sure if that goes for everyone, but I would never considering I trade weeklies and I trade risky.



I will see if this is true for me as I become more involved and knowledgeable in option trading. I don't trade weeklies, nor am I glued to a computer while watching L2.
